[vi'gɔtski], Stanisław, polnischer Schriftsteller, * Bendzin 13. 1. 1907, ✝ Givataim (bei Tel Aviv) 8. 5. 1992; Altkommunist, während der deutschen Okkupation im Getto und im KZ Auschwitz; erfolgreicher Autor des sozialistischen Realismus, danach Kritiker der Stalinzeit, so im Roman »Zatrzymany do wyjaśnienia« (entstanden 1957, herausgegeben 1968; deutsch »Bis zur Klarstellung«); emigrierte 1967 nach Israel; neben Erzählungen und Romanen auch Lyrik (»Drzewo ciemności«, 1971).
